  1. SCOPE

This policy applies ONLY to the “Service Fee” charged by SmartReg.in. It does NOT apply to Stamp Duty, Registration Fees, or Legal Incidental expenses paid to the Government.

  1. CANCELLATION RULES
  • Before Drafting Starts: If you cancel immediately after booking (within 2 hours) and before our legal team has started the drafting process, you are eligible for a 100% Refund.
  • After Drafting/Verification: Once a draft has been generated or a search report initiated, NO REFUND is possible as the professional work has been consumed.
  • Appointment Cancellation:
    • >24 Hours Notice: Rescheduling is Free. Cancellation gets a 50% refund of the “Concierge Fee.”
    • <24 Hours Notice: No Refund (Resource was already deployed).
  1. NON-REFUNDABLE COMPONENTS
  • Any amount paid as Stamp Duty or Government Fees is non-refundable by us. You must seek a refund directly from the State Treasury (Directorate of Registration) via their defined protocols.
  • Fees paid for Physical Verification Visits are non-refundable once the agent has visited the site.
  1. PLATFORM ERRORS

If a transaction fails due to a technical glitch on SmartReg.in (e.g., double payment), a full refund will be initiated automatically within 5-7 business days to the original payment source.

  1. DISPUTES

All refund disputes must be raised via email to support@smartreg.in within 3 days of the transaction. Decisions made by M/s DotIN Services regarding “Service Delivery” status are final.
